HUNTERSVILLE NC October 6 2020 The Southern Professional Hockey League SPHL today announced that the 2020-2021 season will be comprised of five teams and feature a 42-game regular season schedule. The SPHL is set to drop the puck for the 2020-2021 regular season on Saturday December 26. I watched an SPHL camp this past summer and there are a lot of good players at them but I think like 1-2 skaters ended up making the final roster that attended the camp and the one goalie they liked had to be cut but was brought in when one of our two goalies got the call to goto the Coast and then was released as soon as he got sent back down but did get picked up by another SPHL team right.
