They contribute so much to the local art scene and showcase a spring show which is fabulous and helps out the community by hosting Memorial Hospitals art therapy program for cancer survivors and their caretakers. They have a continuous art gallery that is open to the public and also offer many classes to adults as well as children.

Mistlin Gallery hosts between 10 and 12 shows each year. Some of the shows exhibit member artwork while others are open to any artist. There are several themed shows along with our annual student exhibition YoungArt in March and the Autumn Art Festival in September.

The artists are cancer patients survivors and caregivers who attend the classes as a way to work through the challenges of a cancer. Mistlin Gallery in partnership with Modesto Parks Recreation and Neighborhoods offers a variety of classes for children and adults offered throughout the year in the gallerys Edna Mellis Education Center.
