Lake minear. Lake Minear Beach became a reality. Since that eventful summer in 1957 the Libertyville Boat Club has cleared brush and overgrowth to provide sandy beaches and grassy picnic areas. The property has been fenced for safety.
Since 1985 a conservation program has been ongoing resulting in the addition of berms plantings trees and picnic areas. Lake Minear has served our community for generations as a place to fish swim and gather and our volunteers are always working hard to find ways to make it even better. Your generous gift of a few extra dollars can help keep Lake Minear around for generations to come and help us with some big improvements wed like to make in the coming years.
Lake Minear Beach - Lake Minear Beach is Lake Countys premier member-supported 72-acre lake with swimming in the summer year-round fishing and a schedule of fun events for members. Play and swim in the refreshing spring-fed waters or just relax on the clean sandy beach. The picnic area is equipped with several picnic tables and charcoal grills.
Lake Minear Extended Fishing Rules. Fishing is allowed from sun up to sun down year round. You must be a member to be eligible for extended fishing.
After you are signed up you will receive a sticker and a key to the east fishing gate. Please make sure boat stickers are visible on the left side of your boat. Minear Lake is a water feature in Illinois and has an elevation of 650 feet.
